Aftermath product type_candle holders 180 x 90 cm /By Melbourne Artist Grace Turner 22 x 23 cm Process of making the glass sculptures: Some designs are carefully planned, while others evolve as new choices emerge once the kiln door opens. Each piece begins with hand cut and assembled glass, placed in the kiln for a 2436 hour firing. Afterward, I might screen print images from my photographs or layer powdered glass for color and depth, often requiring multiple firings at up to 800C. Once the design is
